Secrets of the Self Made Millionaires

My "first" encounter with Adam Khoo's product was the book called the "Secrets of the Self Made Millionaires".

At that time, i was trying to gain more knowledge on wealth creation and came across this book. This book was one of the best selling books in Popular bookstore. What makes me pick it up was that he was a self made millionaire. Furthermore, he made it at the age of 26 - that's very impressive. Most importantly, he is a Singaporean. While you see, my previous idea of millionaires in Singapore are they inherited their money, got a windfall from somewhere like lottery, stocks during the bullrun. This person made my eyes opened - he can make his millions in Singapore, a place where most people were resigned to the fact of working for a full time job and never be rich. I was thinking, maybe i can learn something from him to get myself out of the ratrace so i decided to buy his book.

How to be a millionaire?

I believe and know that most people would like to be millionaires and usually, they have a burning question......HOW?

Me too. I used to have this BIG question....HOW?

Now i have found out that one of the best way to do it is to model after rich and successful people. Say if you like stock market, you can model after Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch etc, if you like basketball, model after Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson etc, Tiger Woods for golf, Ewen Chia for affiliate marketing, Pele & Maradona for soccer and many more.

Why would you want to model after these people? The reason is simple, they are highly successful people in their field and have a certain way of doing things. If you were to follow what they do, chances are you will be a lot better than what you are now.

Therefore, i have decided to model after Adam Khoo. So who is Adam Khoo?

Adam Khoo is an entrepreneur, a best-selling author and a peak performance trainer. A self-made millionaire by the age of 26 and now a multi-millionaire at the age of 31, he owns and runs 3 different companies with a combined annual turnover of $20 million.

I have personally own and read several of his books like "I am Gifted So Are You", "Secrets of the Self Made Millionaires", "Secrets of the Millionaire Investors", "Master You Mind, Design Your Destiny" and also his audio programme.

In blogs to follow, i will be concentrating on his products and provide some reviews and my thoughts.

Do you want to be a millionaire?

Seriously, do you want to be rich? Much richer than what you are now? Are you secretly hoping that one day you will be a millionaire? Do you have the desire that one day you will never ever need to slog for that small pay cheque of yours again and DO what you REALLY like to do? And do you think you deserve much more than what you have now?

If you answers are yes, then what happened? Why are you still in the "poor" situation you are in now?

I have asked many of my friends these questions "Do you want to be a millionaire" and "Do you like to be very much richer than what you have now", 9 out of 10 will tell me they do (actually it is the same for me too). There are many reasons cited like they are not smart enough, it takes money to grow money, getting rich is a matter of luck, there's no money making opportunities out there, investments are for people with a lot of money, investments are risky etc....

I used to share the same sentiments as them with all these limiting beliefs in me. That is why for some the past 32 years, i was unable to be built my wealth though deep inside. Things finally changed when i attended the "Millionaire Mind Intensive" by T. Harv Eker which i learnt that to be rich, first you must change your mindset. Next, you should learn and model after rich and successful people. Then, take massive actions and the results will follow.
